The US-based Allegheny Airlines was a regional airline that operated between 1952 and 1979. The airline primarily flew routes out of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to regions in the eastern US. Headquartered at Washington National Airport (DCA), the airline largely operated Douglas DC-3 and DC-9, Convair, and some Boeing 737-100 and 737-200 aircraft.
