A Bombardier CRJ700 operating under 
American Airlines’ regional brand, American Eagle crashed into the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) on Wednesday. The incident reportedly happened after the aircraft collided with a helicopter while on approach.
