North Downs Rail Line to close for 16 days

The North Downs Line between Guildford and Gatwick Airport is to be closed for the next 16 days because of engineering work near Shalford in Surrey.

Normal service resumes for North Downs line train services

After being closed for 16 days for improvements, the line between Guildford and Gatwick Airport has resumed normal service.

Ahead of Brighton and Hove Pride 2025, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) have announced that they will be enhancing their services for the event.

A redesigned timetable will be introduced by Southern this June following customer feedback.
