The Gulfstream G550 is a twin-engine business jet designed and developed by Gulfstream Aerospace in the early 2000s. Developed from Gulfstream V, the G550 entered service in 2004. The G550 has an increased length and wingspan compared to its predecessors. The engineered wing and other advances in reducing overall aerodynamic drag on the aircraft boost its operations range to a maximum of 6,750 NM (7,770 miles, 12,500 km).
