All the plans were decided last week, and so we started with the excellent job Rex has made of the battery carrier/rack for 1675
It has been made in 2 halves, each tray being exact …… using a wooden model of a battery as a test rig. The frame is now gaining in weight ….. at some point I will give an all up weight including the batteries.
Same vehicle, and work continues with Rod in the saloon with window frames and surrounding panelling getting his attention.
Bryan paid us a visit today and I think was impressed with Rex’s generator mounting ….. it does look as if it grew there.
Simon was either installing or admiring his handy work, with ceiling panels in the kitchen.
Colin is also adding his expertise with more panelling in the saloon.
Bob started making inspection doors for the generator, our steel suppliers just love us.
Nice to have Dave back with us, he is smoothing out any bumps and divets ….. it really does look the part, and should be a show stopper when it is eventually out shopped.
A storage cabinet changeover, there is never enough room. This is being replaced with a metal cabinet which will provide more bench area for welding and hot work.
