The inauguration ceremony for the second phase of the Maho – Omanthei railway track upgrade project took place today (2024-01-07) at Galgamuwa railway station.
Indian High Commissioner, Transport Minister Bandula Gunawardena, the General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways, and several officials from SLR and IRCON participated in the inauguration ceremony.
The project is scheduled to be completed on June 15, 2024.
