City of Casey ratepayers have slammed their council’s decision to ban the public from attending in person their monthly meeting, the move coming after police we called in to last month’s event amid ratepayer fury over a slew of local laws.
Casey Council has recently developed and adopted the Community Local Law 2023, which replaced the Community Local Law 2018 and the Asset Protection Local Law 2016, focusing on maintaining peace, order, and good government within the municipality.
This has been a serious issue for local residents who they say has been removing their local rights.
