Virgin Australia Regional Airlines Considering Embraer E190-E2 Or Airbus A220 To Replace Fokker 100 Aircraft

For the last decade or so, aircraft manufacturers have had their eyes on Australia's aging fleet of jets and turboprops operating passenger and charter routes in regional and rural parts of the country. All of the OEMs saw the opportunity and regularly visited Downunder, and it seems that persistence is finally starting to pay off.
