  1. A wagon on 9392 derailed at Dynon, damaging a turnout. This has disrupted the standard gauge network in the area of
    Dynon blocking movements.

    1. This would have been the 9392 allied mills train to Kensington current at the sidings there sans a couple of wagons I believe. The XPT was at Broadmeadows and Albury V/Line services would have been cancelled. There is a CM3 (from Griffith) at Tottenham inbound also with PM7 in the area also. Quite a backlog in and out.

  2. Current Status:

The leading bogie on train 9392 has derailed at Sims St Jct with the trailing bogie splitting 147D points damaging the points machine.

The Main and Local line are both blocked restricting access to and from the Docks, Melbourne Steel Terminal, Melbourne Freight Terminal, North Dynon standard and broad gauge lines and any passenger trains in and out of Spencer St.

  3. Trains are now beginning to use the junction in and out of Melbourne. Trains being 3PM7 and 5SM2 have entered the yards from the north and west.
