While it’s usual to see some of the world’s largest airlines welcoming new aircraft almost weekly, it’s also another thing to operate the world’s oldest Boeing 737 aircraft. The Indian Air Force (IAF), part of the Indian Armed Forces, owns just that. The IAF’s Boeing 737-200 (2A8) took its first flight on December 23, 1970, and is 54.2 years old.
