Trifecta of trifectas: Virgin most reliable airline again in February

It comes after Australian Aviation reported in November that the Tasmanian service would be temporarily cancelled due to changes in the maintenance plan for Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan (GTF) engines used on its A320neo and A321neos.

In an opening address to the airline’s AGM, John Mullen acknowledged that 2023 was a “very difficult year” but insisted the “difficulties and reputational damage” are being “comprehensively addressed”.
