Northwest Airlines was a major airline in the United States from 1926 to 2010 before merging with Delta Air Lines. Northwest Airlines was known for its fleet diversity and expanded domestic and international network. At the time of the merger, it operated a fleet of over 300 aircraft, most of which were brought to Delta.
