The Pilot That Miscommunicated & Now Faces A Hefty Fine Because Of It

A commercial pilot has been handed a hefty fine after failing to establish communications with air traffic control (ATC) for over 30 minutes, leading to the RAF scrambling two Eurofighter Typhoon jets. The SAS Connect flight from Oslo to Manchester had 58 passengers onboard at the time and was escorted by the fighter jets to a safe landing in Manchester.
