Some 77.75 million passengers flew between the US and Europe last year, the greatest number on record. Traffic rose 7% compared to 2023 and 3% compared to before the pandemic in 2019, although these increases say nothing about what happened to fares. The top 10 markets—inevitably led by New York JFK to London Heathrow—were so substantial that they accounted for more than one in six passengers.
