Stinson Municipal Airport (SSF) is the oldest General Aviation airport in Texas, and the second-oldest in the United States, after College Park Airport (CGS) in Maryland. It is located seven miles south of downtown San Antonio. The airport was established in October 1915 by the Stinson family who leased the land from the City of San Antonio.
