At the end of November last year, easyJet confirmed that it would be expanding its operations at both Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Milan Linate Airport (LIN). The company was granted a significant number of slots as it became the “short haul remedy taker” for the ITA Airways– Lufthansa acquisition. The first part of the acquisition was completed in January when ITA Airways, Italy’s flag carrier, became part of the Lufthansa Group.

LATAM Airlines will soon have new business class seats on its Boeing 787 Dreamliners and has sought approval from the US Department of Transportation due to rules related to accessibility.
