Specialist rail services delivery partner Diamond Rail Services has celebrated the three year anniversary of its evolutionary rebranding from Diamond Seating.
The business, which was best known as a seat refurbishment specialist, expanded its offering with complimentary and inter-dependent services – enabling it to offer full interior refurbishment solutions.
Managing Director Simon Ratcliffe said that the new brand had been well received by the rail industry – as had its new service offering, ‘Diamond Front of House’. Developed for the interior of rail vehicles, this turnkey service addresses specific aesthetic issues to improve the passenger environment.
Simon added: “The fresh branding and clear messaging along with additions to the team have shown Diamond Rail Services go from strength to strength in the last three years – particularly as we adapted to new challenges post-COVID. The brand has done exactly what we set out to achieve, which was to deliver more and please customers.
“Our new front of house service is a case in point. Today, this service is proven, which has helped to cement the brand and business as the go-to place for interior solutions in rail.”
In 2023, Diamond Rail Services began its turnkey interior refurbishment of 29 Class 395 South Eastern Units, working with Hitachi Rail. The Diamond Rail Services team project manages the scope, including procurement of new materials and interior paint, toilet floor modifications and the labour provision and management on site. It also provides the seat refurbishment from its site in Sheffield.
