Barcelona Airport (BCN), which is more commonly known as Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, is the principal international airport serving the Spanish city of Barcelona. The facility, which lies in the municipalities of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans, and Sant Boi, is the largest and most important international airport in Catalonia, Spain. The airport is the second-busiest and second-largest airport in all of Spain, and it currently serves as one of the largest and most important gateways for leisure travel in all of Europe. The airport recently ranked as the sixth-busiest in all of Europe by passenger traffic.
