Avid readers will know that The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) showcased their narrowbody C919 to the world for the first time. Launch customer China Easter sent the aircraft for static display, while the manufacturer sent a prototype for the aerial display registered as B-001F. According to Asia Nikkei, C919 and ARJ21 jets made multiple stops at Southeast Asian airports, including Kuala Lumpur, for demonstration flights after the Singapore Airshow, showing the OEM's interest in selling the plane beyond China. The type got some attention at the airshow, with Tibet Airlines ordering 40 C919s and 10 ARJ21s.
