It turns out that without the proper landing gear, aircraft have a wheely-big problem. One may think that Boeing produces Boeing aircraft and Airbus produces Airbus aircraft – that is true on a zoomed-out, macro level, but zoom-in and the components of these aircraft are made by a wide range of aircraft parts manufacturers worldwide. According to Mordor Intelligence, the five most prominent manufacturers of aircraft landing gear are Safran SA, Héroux-Devtek Inc., Honeywell, Collins Aerospace (part of Raytheon), and Liebherr. There is much to know about aircraft landing gear (it is much more complicated and advanced than many people may release).
