The Federal Court heard the last of the witness evidence on Friday (22 March) but lingering questions about the “counterfactual world”, in which the sackings never occurred, has pushed the timeline back.
The service, starting in September, will operate three times per week using Jetstar’s A320 fleet, with ticket sales to begin next month. Jetstar estimates that it will create 58,000 seats per year between Adelaide and the popular tourist destination.
The study comes as the airline prepares to fight ACCC allegations in court that it sold tickets to flights it had already cancelled, and months after the early exit of former CEO Alan Joyce.
The dramatic development comes hours after the airline suspended all of its flights and weeks after a rash of speculation about the future of the airline.
