The Boeing 757 will only operate 3% of all scheduled US/Canada-Europe passenger flights between April-September, with northern airlines switching to summer schedules on March 31. Due to technological evolution and much more fuel-efficient Airbus A321LRs and 737 MAXs, it has reduced from 6% in the pre-pandemic 2019 and 11% a decade ago. It was when the number of transatlantic flights on all equipment was far lower than it is now.
