Irish ultra-low-cost carrier Ryanair has commenced domestic flights in Morocco, becoming the only foreign carrier serving the domestic market. This is expected to boost internal connectivity and stimulate traffic growth in line with the government's ambition to promote tourism in the Kingdom. Ryanair has also launched several new routes from Europe to Morocco as part of the record Summer schedule announced late last year.
