The newest model of the iconic F-16 Fighting Falcon is equipped with fifth-generation capabilities and improvements that have significantly increased the structural life of the aircraft. With many combat features common with newer aircraft, such as the F-22 Raptor and the F-13 Lightning, the Block 70/72 model is expected to serve well into the 2060s.
