Major US Airlines Urge The Biden Administration To Pause Additional Flights To China

Although air traffic between the US and China has not reached pre-pandemic levels, there has been a steady and gradual increase in the number of flights between the two countries. Recently, US authorities granted Chinese airlines to operate up to 50 weekly flights to further improve air connectivity between the US and China, but US carriers have now urged the Biden administration to pause approving any additional flights until there’s a level playing field.
