On Tuesday, September 14th, 1999, a Britannia Airways Boeing 757-200, registered G-BYAG, crashed during a thunderstorm at Girona–Costa Brava Airport (GRO). Miraculously, of the 236 passengers and nine crew onboard, there was only a single fatality.
