Today, airports, especially those in the United States, can be stressful, even for the most frequent flyers. Passengers in the country regularly have to wait in heinous security lines only to enter an outdated terminal where every product is sold for excessive money. Almost all airports in the United States are owned and operated by a Port Authority or local government. As a result, the airports are run like a government bureaucracy, seldom upgrading infrastructure, and are not like private businesses with passenger experiences of the utmost importance.
