SWISS Near-Miss At JFK Airport After ATC Clears 3 Other Aircraft To Cross Runway

As a rule in life, there are many more near misses for every accident. One near miss was recently averted at New York's busy JFK airport. A SWISS Airbus A330-300 was cleared for takeoff, but the pilots aborted the roll after seeing three aircraft crossing their path down the runway.
