Infrastructure publisher Monkey Media has officially been acquired by Prime Creative Media, along with all of its print, digital and marketing IP assets, as of 2 April 2024.
As part of the acquisition, Infrastructure, along with Monkey Media’s other titles, Utility, Energy, Pump Industry, Council and Mining magazines will all join the Prime Creative Media stable. All brands include weekly newsletters, quarterly print publications, and daily news websites.
In addition to its work as a publisher, Monkey Media is also a leading marketing agency in the B2B space, with advanced retargeting and lead generation tools for its impressive list of clients.
Prime Creative Media CEO, John Murphy, said that Prime has long respected the work that the team at Monkey Media has done in delivering advanced marketing services to its clients.
“Their IP in this space is impressive, in addition to the high-quality print and digital mastheads that the team delivers,” Mr Murphy said.
“Their focus on positive news and delivering value to their clients fits so well with Prime Creative Media’s purpose of growing individuals, organisations and industries.”
Chris Bland, Managing Director of Monkey Media, will be joining the Prime Creative Media team as part of the acquisition, along with the team of 20 media professionals. Mr Murphy and Mr Bland have already begun the integration process, and both said that they can see great synergies in the acquisition.
“Our focus on supporting the growth of our clients through great publications and advanced marketing services matches so well with what Prime Creative Media delivers in the B2B space,” Mr Bland said.
“Our team is thrilled to have found a similarly minded, forward-thinking company, to ensure our business continues to grow and meets the needs of our clients.”
The first focus area is to ensure a smooth transition for clients, to match then exceed the level of service both companies are known for.
