The Railway Benefit Fund’s (RBF) Railway Family Week Raffle is back. This year there are three prizes up for grabs: a Hornby Bundle, a Desktop Departure Board and tickets to ‘Here & Now’, the Steps Musical! The raffle closes at 5pm on Friday 26th April.
Everyone taking part will be helping the charity in its vital work providing financial support to current, former and retired railway staff and their dependents across the UK. Raffle tickets are £5 and you are able to buy tickets for your favourite prize, or purchase tickets for all three.

Jo Kaye, Chief Executive Officer at RBF, said: “The best part is that every raffle ticket you purchase will go towards supporting the Railway Benefit Fund, a UK charity dedicated to supporting current, former and retired railway workers and their families.

The event is part of Railway Family Week, which started on Monday, celebrating the rail industry and the amazing people in it. This year the challenge is to raise £50,000. People can also get involved by volunteering and receiving a free volunteer toolkit, or support the teams in its Station to Station Challenge, or simply donate to make a difference.
Demand for RBF’s services has nearly tripled in the past five years. In 2023 the charity helped more than 1,000 railway people with direct financial support. Over 65 per cent of those we helped are current workers and the majority under the age of 50.
