It has been nearly 105 years since Captain John Alcock and Lieutenant Arthur Whitten Brown made the first non-stop transatlantic flight. This was achieved between June 14th and 15th, 1919, on a flight that lasted over 16 hours. Air travel has undoubtedly come a long way since then.
