The Tupolev ANT-25 was a Soviet Union-era experimental aircraft used for a wide range of record-breaking flights. The long-range aircraft was also tried as a bomber during its experimental flights. Designed as a result of recommendation by the Revolutionary Military Council, a supreme military authority of Soviet Russia and later the Soviet Union, the aircraft was intended for long-range flights.
