Mauritius Airport Reopens After Tropical Cyclone Cancels 40+ Flights

Over the past few days, Tropical Cyclone Belal has lashed the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius, preventing access to public facilities like the country's main airport. To the relief of passengers and operators, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU), southeast of the capital, Port Louis, has reopened to flights after several hours of significant disruptions.
