Frontier Airlines Plans A New Puerto Rico Pilot & Cabin Crew Base

Amid Frontier Airlines’ continued growth in Puerto Rico, the ultra-low-cost carrier has unveiled plans to open its 13th crew base at San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in June.

The EL AL Boeing 737-800 eventually flew to Rhodes, Greece, where it was refueled and was able to return to Tel Aviv, Israel.

Once construction is completed by 2032, the airport hopes to be able to serve up to 34 million passengers per year.

The airline will start this service on April 2.
