Two Great Centrals to join up in March!
A unique event on March 16/17 will see Great Central Railway and Great Central Railway (Nottingham) link up to mark the 125th anniversary of the opening of the London Extension of what was then the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway. It is the first time that the two companies have teamed up to offer a single ticket for an event on the two sections of the line, looking to their future as a reunified 18-mile heritage railway.

Deal secures Darjeeling tank for 10 years at Statfold
THE Darjeeling Tank Locomotive Trust has agreed a landmark deal to have the late Adrian Shooter’s Sharp Stewart B 0-4-0SWTT No. 19 overhaul at the Statford Barn railway and based there along with its replica carriages for the next 10 years.
