Asia-Pacific is already the fastest-growing commercial aviation region and will soon be home to some of the world’s largest airline fleets, many of which will fly to and from Singapore Changi Airport. While the decarbonization clock is set to net zero emissions by 2050, numerous airlines have set interim reduction targets to be achieved by 2030, just six years away, with the availability of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) crucial to achieving those goals.
