Mark Allen slams ‘insane’ state government for prioritising a scoreboard over cancer research

Mark Allen has launched a strong attack on the state government after it was revealed $4.1 million would be invested at GMHBA Stadium to replace a scoreboard, despite 75 per cent of funding for cancer research being cut in the state budget.

“I do not know how the Victorian government sleeps at night,” Allen told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.

The former professional golf player and regular 3AW contributor is a survivor of bowel cancer, and had a strong message for Premier Jacinta Allan.
