Eurocontrol's final 2023 numbers are in, and it paints a pretty picture for European aviation. For the year ending December 2023, 10.2 million flights took off, with an outstanding 34,367 flights in just one day, reported on July 7th, 2023. This marked a 10% increase in flights operated compared to 2022 and returns to 92% of capacity to pre-pandemic. However, if you hoped to arrive on time, 71% of flights landed on time.
