Last year saw a robust post-pandemic surge in travel, with people eager to get away on vacation after being denied to do so due to COVID-19 lockdowns and countries closing their borders. In its 2023 Global Passenger Survey (GPS), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) says that passengers put speed and convenience above everything else.
