With approximately seven in ten passengers transferring to another flight in Dubai, it is not hard to understand why Emirates is a so-called super-connector. I’m fortunate to have access to booking data via OAG Traffic Analyzer. While nothing can be as good as an airline’s internal data, it is beneficial in many ways. It informs us that Emirates had an estimated 37 million transfer passengers last year, equivalent to more than 100,000 people daily.
