A walk through the campus of Melbourne University today revealed a very quiet but very wide tent city on the south lawn. Very few people around the area and fewer students.
It was not a overly cold morning in Melbourne today (Friday 17th May 2024) in fact it has been warm and hardly feels like a Melbourne Autumn but despite this the protestors were either all in their tents on their mobile phones or they are at home with their electric blankets.
Professors walk was just a quiet with the Arts West Building (a building in which I myself have attended lectures) seeing little activity.
