A new project management business is helping project professionals to gain an advantage and access career support.
Launched by Nicola Benjamin MBA. BSc. ChPP. MAPM, a Chartered Project Professional and Associate at Arup, Project Management Global (PMG) is designed to engage, educate, and inspire project professionals worldwide.
The business was launched on 1 May 2024, and has already reached 15,000 project professionals. It aims to grow its subscribers to 100,000 by the end of the year.
Featuring news, views analysis, resources and educational tools, PMG is designed for those managing projects in any sector – including rail. It is suitable for individuals starting out in their project management careers, people already working in the profession, and those with vastexperience of managing major projects on a global scale.
Former rail professional Nicola said: “I launched PMG to support passionate and ambitious project professionals achieve more in their careers. During my 20 years as a project professional (practitioner, trainer, and coach) I saw too many of my fellow professional in unfulfilling roles, that left them feeling drained and uncertain of where to go to next. Especially for those project managers who are independent or even those working in large corporate organisations, project management can be a lonely and unforgiving environment. I started the PMG community to change this!”
