Terania Street, Lismore – rail over road bridge

Transport for NSW will be installing temporary safety treatments to slow light vehicles and restrict heavy vehicles approaching the Terania Street rail bridge. Read the latest project update (PDF, 547.76 KB) for more information.

Work to construct the new safety treatments will start on Monday 27 May. It is expected to take four weeks to complete, weather permitting. Road is expected to be open by end of June.

We have also received approval from NSW Heritage Council to remove Terania Street rail bridge and is working through the heritage approval consent conditions to enable works to proceed. We will keep the community informed of the progress.
