Introduced between 1959 and 1977, the MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-27, and MiG-29 all have fascinating stories to tell and served as the backbone of Soviet air power for decades. These fighters and ground-attack aircraft were produced to serve a number of roles and would not just enter service in the USSR but with operators from across the globe.
