Recent headlines have undoubtedly cast troubling concerns around US-based planemaker Boeing‘s safety culture and manufacturing standards, which have continued to face challenges related to the 737 MAX family. This line of commercial airlines has developed a problematic safety record, marred by two fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019 and a more recent incident in which an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX door plug blew off mid-flight.
