Adelaide‘s Metro network will have full closures and partial closures of a number of lines throughout the month of June.
The Gawler line will be closed during the June long weekend to allow infrastructure upgrades and renewal works to the rail corridor.
During the full line closure, train services will not operate between Adelaide Railway Station and Gawler Central Railway Station.
While these works are undertaken, substitute buses will operate between Adelaide and Gawler Central Railway Stations.
When:
- 9:00 pm Friday 7 June to last service Monday 10 June 2024.

Every effort is made to ensure timetabled substitute bus services are accessible for all customers, including the elderly, customers with a disability, and those travelling with prams.
If you find your large mobility device does not fit on an Adelaide Metro bus, contact the Torrens Transit depot on (08) 8292 8100 to request an accessible taxi. This service is available from train station to train station only. It is not a door-to-door service
The Outer Harbor rail line will be partially closed across the first weekend of June, to allow construction works to continue for the Port Dock Railway Line Project.
The line will be temporarily closed between Woodville Railway Station and Outer Harbor Railway Station.
While these works are undertaken, the H1 route will operate as a substitute bus between Woodville and Outer Harbor Railway Stations.
When:
- From first service Saturday 1 June to last service Sunday 2 June 2024.
