Across the long weekend, buses replace trains between Berowra and Hornsby on the T1 North Shore Line.
On Saturday and Sunday, buses will also replace trains between Hornsby and Epping on the T9 Northern Line. On Monday, buses will replace trains between Hornsby and Strathfield.
Travel into the city for Vivid will not be heavily impacted by trackwork, with an additional 400 train services on offer over the duration of the event.
Sydney Trains will have more than 1200 workers carrying out a significant amount of work over this period, including fleet enabling works, turnout renewal and refurbishment, track reconditioning, footbridge renewal, anti-throw screen installation.
Some trains may run to changed stopping pattern and timetable. Passengers may need to change trains and are encouraged to allow extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info or using trip planning apps.

Intercity
On the Central Coast & Newcastle Line, buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Hornsby from Saturday to Monday.
Buses will also replace trains between Scone, Dungog and Newcastle Interchange across the long weekend on the Hunter Line.
Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands Line trains are also affected by trackwork this weekend, though trains are running passengers are urged to plan their journey if heading towards the city.
