Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company. The Renton, Washington-based company was founded in Seattle over 107 years ago. The company is now known for its production of globally-used commercial airliners. This includes the currently-produced 737 family of aircraft, the 767, the 777, and the 787 Dreamliner. Boeing has also historically produced some of the most notable aircraft in the world, like the Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747, or the trijet commercial aircraft, the Boeing 727. Since it was founded, the company has delivered nearly 20,000 total commercial jets alone. It also has over 5,000 aircraft on backorder.
