Pro Palestine protests in Melbourne’s CBD yesterday turned ugly with violent confrontations taking place between protestors and the police. Police state they were the target of bottles and signs being thrown and responded with pepper spray when cornered.
The protests dispute this statement and say the Police were the first to act with pepper spray.
