The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) is a special operations component of the United States Air Force (USAF). Like the United States Army’s Delta Force and the United States Navy’s Seal Team Six, the AFSOC is an elite group of soldiers serving in the United States Air Force (USAF). Air Force Special Operations personnel are some of the first to enter combat, often finding themselves deep behind enemy lines with little or no support.
